Few things are as important to the health and happiness of human beings as good fresh air. Yet in many modern offices this vital resource is a scarce commodity.

The effect on staff morale and productivity can be devastating. This is particularly so because of the subtle way that a simple lack of oxygen undermines energy and efficiency, often without the staff themselves even knowing.

The introduction of fresh air and subsequent removal of airborne contaminants, via an effective ventilation system, can greatly contribute towards a comfortable and efficient working environment.

We can, if requested, install ‘old style’ ventilation with an electric heater battery fitted to the duct, supplying the fresh air, but it’s not what we’d recommend.

Much more efficient are the new heat recovery ventilation systems. These use the stale outgoing air to pre-heat or cool the fresh incoming air. This saves 70% of the heat or cool that would otherwise be thrown away. And the running costs are almost nil, as you are only powering a small fan motor and no electric heaters.
